Public art installations are a vital part of the cultural fabric of our communities. This year the Wrentham Cultural Council is doing something a little different, using real fabrics to create a public art project to recognize the rich textile history of Wrentham during this year’s Arts on the Common celebration on June 1.
We will be working together to create woven, knit, crocheted, sewn and cut fabric squares which will be sewn together to create panels to decorate the Common. If you are interested in learning more on how you can be involved please visit www.firstbytedesigns.com.
If you would like to donate yarn or fabric there is a bin located at the elevator door entrance at St. Mary.
