St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus - Thank You

On behalf of the Wrentham K of C here at St. Mary’s I wanted to share with everyone that the Poker Event on February 4th was a great success! 

We had 24 players and raised over $800.00 total for the Parish and a small portion of it for the Wrentham K of C council charity fund.  Players won $210 for 1 ^st place, $110 for 2 ^nd place and $70 for 3 ^rd place, but even the winners shared at least part of their winnings for the cause.  I’ve additionally received a few donations from friends and family who couldn’t make the event. 

The event was attended by at least 30 people, some who came just to donate their time, some just to donate their resources.  We are grateful for the Plainville Council’s generosity and effort in helping us with the round tables, Foxboro K of C for lending us the chips and cards, and mostly Fr. Joe for his support (and opening prayer).  We hope to do the event again in the Fall.
