Bring a Friend for a Fun Way to Support St. Mary Parish!
 

It amazes me how much fun a good fundraiser can be (sometimes our youth fundraisers are even called “fun-raisers”)! In addition to the great food and lively music entertainment, a good auctioneer can not only raise the bar on fundraising but become a central part of the entertainment for the evening! Live auction items this year include the very popular lake boat cruises and Patriots tickets, along with a hayride in an antique pickup truck and abun-dant themed baskets, as well as some very attractive silent auction packages. The dinner buf-fet at Franklin Country Club is delicious, and the evening ends with some time for dancing and socializing with friends new and old.

This Auction and Social for St. Mary Parish on Friday evening, May 17, is right around the corner… We need to give the caterer a final headcount for the dinner this Monday, so please buy your tickets today – either after Mass at St. Mary or online. St. Martha Parish has for many years held a successful annual fundraiser in the traditional St. Martha Holiday Fair each fall – thanks to the donations and participation by members of both parishes and abundant hard work of those on the Fair Committee. Thanks to the generous auction participants and donors from both parishes, and the dedicated Auction Committee volunteers, this more recent tradition of an Auction for St. Mary Parish has allowed us to raise a comparable amount to aid our other parish as well.
