Donations Toward Assisting Our Migrant Neighbors

Several people have asked if they can make a donation to assist our new neighbors, especially as they await their working papers. If you wish, you can make a donation toward two needs we are helping them right now: folding furniture and breakfast food. At the smaller hotel there is no dining area, so we have purchased folding chairs and card tables for each family to have a better place to eat in their rooms. The state continues to provide takeout for lunch and dinner, but not breakfast, so we are purchasing some breakfast food for them. Please make any donations payable to St. Martha Parish and mark them “Migrant Neighbors” if you want to help with these efforts.
