Backpack Drive for Friends of Adoption and Foster Care

The Friends of Adoption and Foster Care (FAFC)is starting its annual St. Mary's Backpack Drive (St Martha parishsioners welcomed!). The backpacks will be donated to the Arlington and Whitinsville offices of the Department of Children and Families to be distributed by their social workers.

These items are requested: school supplies–crayons, markers, notebooks, folders, binders, scissors, and glue sticks. Toiletries, pajamas, stuffed animals (Small) small toys, books– reading, coloring, or puzzle.

We'll have tags on the giving tree listing our most needed items, but all new, unused donations will be accepted. Drop off items near the giving tree in St. Mary's or in the FAFC bin at the back of St. Mary's parking lot.

The drive will end on National Adoption Day 11/19.
