As we celebrate Christmas, we also take this time to reflect on the years past and the blessings we have had in our parish. One of the huge blessings that will leave an impact on our parish for years to come is the addition of the handicap access ramp to our church. So many wonderful people contributed time and effort to make this happen, so many others contributed to the project financially, and some people did both. As we prepare for the final step in this long project, putting in the patio with the additional engraved bricks by the statue of the Blessed Mother, we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to someone who not only gave his time, but used his talents and his business to help make this project happen. Michael Barba and Anchor Bolt Excavating and Foundations played a critical role in the success of this project. Michael and his family have been parishioners at St. Mary’s for more than twenty years. He gave of his personal time, often answering calls and questions on off hours, meeting with the project committee and subcontractors, and completing the project at cost with no financial benefit to himself or his business. Thank you Michael for all your hard work and effort completing this project for the benefit of our parish community. So many people have already benefitted from the addition and so many will for years to come!
