The 40 Days for Life Campaign in Attleboro opens with a half hour prayer service on Saturday, February 29 at 7:30 AM at Angell Park on Park St. The goal of the campaign is to pray for a conversion of hearts and ultimately an end to legalized abortion. There is a threefold component: prayer for the conversion of hearts, fasting and, if possible, give public witness outside the abortion mill to share the truth about abortion with those seeking abortions.
Throughout the 40 days of Lent, people are asked to give public witness anytime from 6 AM to 6 PM across from Four Women, Inc. at 150 Emory St. in Attleboro. The sidewalk surrounding Angell Park, directly across form Four Women, Inc provides a peaceful place to pray and give witness. Stop by to pray a Rosary, a Divine Mer-cy Chaplet, Stations of the Cross or any favorite prayer.
Prayer and sacrifice are especially needed on Thursdays and Saturdays when surgical and chemical (pill) abortions take the lives of hundreds of preborn children. Please know that your prayers and sacrifices can make a difference be-tween life and death for the unborn child.
