UPDATED -Volunteers Needed - Mass of Anointing - Volunteers Needed

Sunday, September 16, 2018Location: St Mary ChurchAnnual Mass of AnointingCome, take my hand… Please come and be a part of this very special Mass for those who are not always able to come to Mass.
You are invited to the Mass of Anointing. Next Sunday, September 16th at 2:30pm is our Collaborative Mass with the Sacrament of Anointing at St. Mary's. If you are dealing with serious illness, chronic pain, or simply the burden the years can take on our bodies, please attend.
We are looking for volunteers:
¨ Who drive a minivan or sedan to help transport homebound people to St. Mary church and home again.
¨ Who can help push wheelchairs up the access ramp or walking beside those who are using walkers or canes. This is an excellent opportunity for students who need community service hours.
¨ There will be a collation after Mass so bakers are needed to make finger desserts, Please NO NUTS.
Finger desserts can be dropped off inside the church anytime after the Noon Mass on Sunday, September 16th. Thank you.

The first preparation meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 7:00pm. The second and final meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 12th at 7:00pm. Our meetings are held at St. Mary conference room. The Mass of Anointing will be held at St. Mary Parish on Sunday, September 16 at 2:30pm.
Becoming involved with this ministry is a great way to give back to those who have given so much. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Confirmation classes and anyone who would like to volunteer to plan and help with the Mass is invited to plan and serve.
