Catholics in Action (CIA)

The CIA (Catholics In Action) High School Youth Group is open to all high school teens in
grades 9-12.    

The CIA teens and youth ministers meet weekly, most Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm in the basement of the St. Mary Parish rectory. The entrance to our CIA youth group room is downstairs on the Minot Street side of the building.

The weekly meetings are brief gatherings that act as a spiritual break in the week, where we can escape the stresses of daily life and connect with God and those going through similar experiences in high school.  In an informal way, we further our relationship with Jesus and experience His unconditional love by praying as a community with and for one another and our intentions.
 
Some weeks we have special activities planned, such as field trips to LIFT, a Catholic ministry in the Boston area that hosts monthly worship nights that feature awesome praise and worship music, dynamic Catholic speakers, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration.   

We also offer weekend retreats which feature dynamic sessions, prayer opportunities, games, food, praise and worship music and time away to be with your friends and to make new friends, too!
