You may have received a letter from the Archdiocese of Boston in regards to a ransomware attack on one of their technology partners, Blackbaud.
We have learned that Blackbaud has fixed the breach and that,
"The cybercriminal did not access credit card information, bank account information, or social security numbers."
According to Blackbaud, they took steps to make certain the backup file was permanently destroyed and have subsequently added additional security measures to keep this from happening again. More information about the incident can be found at
