Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Martha Parish and St. Mary Parish,
I hope you will take a moment to print, read, and share the attached “Catholic Community News,” our new newsletter for the Plainville-Wrentham Catholic Collaborative! It shows just some of the ways our parishes are thriving and opportunities for you to get involved! The parishioners, councils, and Pastoral Team of our collaborative parishes are grateful to you for your dedication and support that makes our parishes vibrant communities of faith.
Together, we are helping to build up the Church in our Archdiocese, being part of the solution people are looking for in the Church and in their own lives, helping so many people to know the joy of our faith. Our parishes of St. Martha and St. Mary benefit not only from your contributions to the parish offertory, but also from the practical support of the offices and ministries of the Archdiocesan Catholic Appeal. The donations you and I give to the Catholic Appeal sustain more than 50 ministries, several of which we call upon regularly!
Cardinal Seán O’Malley, our archbishop, came to celebrate Mass with members of our collaborative parishes last weekend to emphasize how interconnected we are with the Church throughout the archdiocese, and how much he appreciates your support of the archdiocesan Catholic Appeal. I invite you to join me in making a gift by CLICKING HERE.
Please click on the video below to hear firsthand from just a few of the many people who are served in the ministries of the Appeal. Thank you for the many ways you share your time, talents, and treasure with the Church and all those we serve. Father Joe
