Eucharistic Adoration is adoring and honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ.
During Adoration, we "watch and wait." As we remain "silent" in His Presence we open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist.
As Catholics, we believe that Christ is truly and substantially present in the Eucharist. The Blessed Sacrament is given the same adoration and devotion that is accorded to Christ.![]()
Adoration is an opportunity to have some time alone with Jesus. During Adoration, you may wish to pray the rosary, read Sacred Scripture, recite favorite prayers, contemplate acts of faith, hope, charity, thanksgiving, and reparation, do the Stations of the Cross, or just sit and enjoy His peaceful Presence.
St. Martha Parish has the following opportunities for Adoration:
